As part of our new contract with Llano County Emergency Services District #5, the Sunrise Beach VFD is transitioning to a hybrid department, utilizing both volunteers and paid staff. Our immediate goal is to have two paid firefighters on duty 12 hours per day, seven days a week. Of course the actual numbers will depend entirely on the qualitied firefighters we can get on the team.
