Training Session

We will discuss and walk Sandy Mountain Drive – to look at home in the Wildland Urban Interface. Selected firefighters have taken some time to visit with residents and prepare one of the WUI checklists – I’ll be asking those folks to select one or two homes of interest to present the risks and challenges of protecting those homes on Saturday morning. I’ve invited members of the ESD commissioners to come walk along with us, visit our training sessions, and learn about the fire service and our capabilities.
