Round Mountain VFD replaced their workhorse mini-pumper, and it was too good a fit – and too good a deal – for us to pass up.

With CAFS and the rescue tools, 252 can be the first out for any type of vehicle incident.

Structure Protection

Quick response to structure fires and WUI exposure protection, again using CAFS.

Grass and Wildfire

Pump-and-roll with the monitor and redline for spot fires and grass, especially along the roadside.

Airport Operations

Primary apparatus for LZ’s and response to any aircraft fire and/or rescue incident.

OK, so what’s the big deal about CAFS?

Let this video from TFS answer that for you. They just let it cook for the first three minutes, then it’s over in seconds. It also makes that 300 gallons of water do the work of 1,200-1,500 gallons.
